This circa 1970s sterling silver men's ring features very fine craftsmanship and is signed by the artisan. The ring is set with one 16mm x 12mm x 8mm(depth estimated) oval shape lab-created spinel cabochon. 

The spinel weighs 17 carats and has a beautiful bright blue color that has been accented with a beaded halo along the bezel edge and a black enamel halo. The top, bottom and sides of the band are accented with black oxidized carved channels. The channels on the sides continue around to the back of the band. 

It's quite a well made piece with a beautiful design. The owner says that she believes it was made in Armenia in 1974. #90
