Please understand that we must be very particular concerning the condition of items that we can accept on consignment.
These are our general guidelines for accepting furniture and decor on consignment. If the items you wish to consign are not covered by these guidelines, please call us to discuss the acceptability of your specific items.
Furnishings should be typically less than 10 years of age. We will occasionally make exceptions to the age requirements if we believe your items would be of interest to a large number of customers, and all the following conditions are met.
Items must be of good quality construction, very excellent to "like new" condition with very little noticeable wear and tear.
Casegoods (tables, bookcases, bedroom furniture, etc)
- 10 years old or less (exceptions made on a case-by-case basis)
- Solid wood construction preferred, although veneered plywood or engineered wood items may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. No "knock-down" (self-assembled) items accepted
- Must be from a smoke-free home
- The finish and paint on solid surfaces must be consistent over all the surfaces (especially the primary surfaces such as top and front), and well maintained with no watermarks, discoloration or fading, noticeable scratches or flaws. A "noticeable scratch or flaw" is something which can be easily seen at a distance of 2 feet or more under bright lighting.
- Legs and frame must be sturdy with no wobble.
- Glass & mirrors must be free of scratches and chips.
- No broken or missing hardware/pieces.
- Doors and drawers must operate smoothly and close correctly.
- Entertainment centers must have a TV area which is at least 60" in width.
- Antique or vintage furniture which has been meticulously maintained, recently restored, and in like-new will be considered. We do accept antique reproductions if they are 10 years old or less and in excellent condition.
Upholstered Furniture (sofas, upholstered chairs, recliners, etc.)
- Typically 7 years old or less
- Must be an identifiable brand name or custom upholstered
- Must be from non-smoking home
- Upholstery must be absolutely clean with no apparent wear, tears, stains, discoloration, and free of odors and pet hair.
- Finish of wood or metal trim should be smooth and consistent in color.
- Cushions and pillows must show no sagging or be out of shape. When sitting down, the cushions and springs must be firm and supportive ("sinkers" will not be accepted).
- Legs and frame must be sturdy with no wobble.
- Mechanical movements must operate smoothly (i.e. recliners, hide-a-beds, massage chairs)
Artwork (must be in perfect condition and have a minimum value of $50)
- No fading or degradation of coloring
- Artwork and matting must be free of any moisture damage (waviness or warping)
- Glass must be free of scratches
- The hanging apparatus must be sturdy, and no string
- No "amateur artist" paintings
- Frames must be constructed of wood (no metal framed art), and free of any damage
- No poster art
- Maximum 2 pcs. consigned at one time
Other Décor (must be in flawless condition, of a current style, and have a minimum selling value of $50)
- Art and sculptures
- Lamps
- Mirrors
- Rugs (maximum 12 ft. in either direction)
- Crystal chandeliers (minimum selling price $200)
- Other quality items for the home

Exercise Equipment (Must to be in top-notch condition with quiet motor operation, and all features functioning correctly.)
- Treadmills
- Ellipticals
- High-end recumbent and stationary bicycles
- Stair steppers
- Rowing machines
- No weight machines or free weights
What we CANNOT accept
- Large glass or stone top dining tables (dinette and patio tables are fine for consignment)
- Lamps without shades or shades which have yellowed
- Mediterranean furniture
- Black lacquer furniture
- Cribs or toddler beds
- Carriage lights or other general light fixtures
- Anything in need of repair or refinishing
- Entertainment centers that are designed for picture-tube style TVs.
- China or other dish sets, flatware, or stemware
