Vintage Navajo 5-Stone Red Coral Sterling Silver Shadow box Cuff by P. Benally

DESCRIPTION..

This vintage Navajo sterling silver and red natural branch coral bracelet is hallmarked by Pauline Benally. Hand crafted with five, large natural free-form Mediterranean branch corals set in saw-tooth bezels in the center of a shadowbox with cut and hand stamped details, this cuff is a wonderful statement piece that exemplifies her superior craftsmanship skills.

The shadowbox technique consists of a cutout top layer that is usually domed and it is soldered to a solid bottom layer. This gives contrast to whatever is in the shadowbox.

The corals measure approximately 1/2″ long. The width of the cuff at the center measures 1.5", tapering down to 1" before tapering up to 1.375" toward the ends. #A.

Stamps: P.Benally, Sterling

Approximate wrist size: 5.875" (cuff size 5.375" + .50" gap)

In order to preserve the original vintage integrity of our items, we do not polish them. We have found that many customers prefer the warm patina of a vintage, unpolished piece. However, if you prefer a brilliant shine rather than the patina that comes with age, items can be easily polished by a jeweler.
