22K Vinaigrette Mechanical Purse Handbag Charm Pendant

This beautiful vinaigrette is made of 22 karat yellow gold and is set with one 8mm round jade button on each side of the purse. The use of a vinaigrette was utilitarian and perfume was typically placed on a tiny piece of sponge and then carefully placed beneath the pierced grid.

This vintage vinaigrette still contained a bit of cotton from the last user. The purse opens along the top and is suspended from an 18 karat yellow gold chain. It measures 1.25"(h) x 1.0"(w) x .37"(d) and would look lovely as a pendant on a chain for a necklace or as a charm on a bracelet.
