26ct Color-Change Sapphire & .50ctw Diamond 14K PARIS Bangle

This antique, handcrafted 14 karat yellow gold hinged bangle bracelet is set with one oval shape lab-created color-change sapphire that measures 23.5mm x 16.5mm x 7.7mm(d) and weighs 26 carats. The sapphire displays colors of purple, blue and pink depending on whether the light is white light/daylight or ambient, with a yellow cast. The gemstone is bezel-set in the center of a halo of 2.5mm rose cut natural diamonds weighing .50 carats, and one cubic zirconia. When one of the diamonds was lost, it was replaced with a cubic zirconia. The diamonds are bezel set in a separate sterling silver gallery. The remainder of the bangle is all 14 karat yellow gold, including the hinges and the safety chain.

The bangle is accented with twisted rope details along the top and the bottom of the bangle as well as in a scalloped design around the sapphire and between the sapphire and the halo of rose cut diamonds. On the side of the bangle is raised "PARIS" text. This bracelet is well secured with both a wide box tongue and clasp as well as a 14K gold safety chain. 

The condition of the bracelet is very good to excellent, especially for an aged piece. The sterling silver sub-gallery does have the typical warm patina that is customary with aged silver. 

The outer dimensions of the bracelet are 2.625" x 2.5", and the inner dimensions are 2.25" x 2.0".
