Condition

Excellent vintage estate condition. The aquamarine displays light microscopic facet wear consistent with age and careful enjoyment, while maintaining excellent transparency and brilliance. The diamonds remain securely set, and the mounting exhibits only minor wear consistent with normal use.

Some gemstones impress with their color. Others captivate through the way they interact with light.

While examining this ring, we found ourselves returning to the center stone again and again. Its beautifully executed fantasy cut creates a fascinating interplay of light, with individual facets revealing subtle shifts between blue and blue-green as the ring is gently turned. The effect reminded us of looking through a kaleidoscope—constantly changing, yet always harmonious.

During our gemological examination, the aquamarine revealed the quiet characteristics we hope to find in a natural gemstone, including delicate internal growth features visible under magnification. Combined with its unusual cut and graceful proportions, the result is a ring that celebrates both the beauty of nature and the artistry of the lapidary.
