14K Gold Carved Red Cinnabar-Style Necklace & Earring Set – Shou Longevity Design

This coordinated necklace and earring set from Ross-Simons features richly colored red beads carved with traditional longevity (shou) symbols, a motif associated with long life and good fortune. 

The beads are crafted in the cinnabar style, a technique in which a lightweight core (often wood) is layered and finished to achieve the look of traditional carved cinnabar. This method has been widely used in contemporary jewelry and allows for detailed carving while remaining comfortable to wear. 

The necklace is composed of approximately 10.5 mm carved beads, accented with 14K yellow gold spacers and finished with a 14K gold clasp. The matching earrings feature larger carved beads suspended from 14K gold leverback wires, completing the set with a balanced and eye-catching design.
