This vintage 1970s 14-karat yellow gold jadeite jade link bracelet measures 7.25" in length, 5/16" in width and it is secured with a hidden open box clasp with foldover safety. The six jadeite jade cabochon stones feature a marquise-shape that measure 7.5mm x 16mm x 4mm(d). The gemstones are in multiple colors of black, ivory, yellowish-orange, light green, orange, and white and are doubly prong set on the ends of each gemstone in open back settings.

The bracelet is also crafted with six marquise-shaped, opened back links with Asian characters, making this a Good Fortune Bracelet. The Chinese characters can be considered a "good fortune" because many Chinese characters symbolize good luck, prosperity, blessing and happiness. Specific characters like "Fu" (福) represent blessings and good fortune, and others like "Cai" (Cài) symbolize wealth and prosperity. The presence of these symbolic characters, particularly in combination with jade, a precious stone associated with good luck and health in Chinese culture, further amplify the symbolic meaning.
