Carved Guatemalan Jadeite Laughing Buddha & Dragon Pendant with Jade Beads

A substantial carved jadeite pendant featuring a smiling, seated figure on the front and a dragon on the reverse. The expressive figure, commonly known as the Laughing Buddha, is rendered in high relief, while the reverse reveals a contrasting dragon motif that makes the pendant visually engaging from either side.

The jadeite displays deep blue-green and gray-green tones, with natural variations in color that emphasize the contours and details of the carving. Green and white jadeite accent beads complement the pendant, which is presented on a black braided cord.
