This circa early-1940s, hand-wrought sterling silver jewelry set is signed by the renowned Taxco silversmith, Beto, a master artisan who contributed to Taxco's reputation as a hub for exquisite silverwork. His pieces exemplify the artistry and bold aesthetics of Mexican silver jewelry from the mid-20th century. He was known for his high-quality, heavy sterling silver jewelry with modernist and sometimes pre-Columbian-inspired designs, and is sought after by collectors for its excellent craftsmanship, bold forms, and intricate detailing.

The set includes one necklace, bracelet and screw-back earring set featuring a scrolling abstract design in hand-wrought sterling silver and multiple mosaics of crushed inlaid turquoise.

The necklace measures 17.75"(l) x .875"(w), the bracelet 6.5"(l) x .875"(w), and the earrings .75"(l) x .625"(w). Collectively, the set weighs 73.55 grams.
