This vintage natural Dushan Jade carving features a three dimensional landscape scene showcasing mountains, boulders, trees, pagoda and an adult and child. The carving measures 5.25"(h) x 5"(w) x 1.75"(d).

Carved from one larger piece of jade, the carving makes wonderful use of the many colors of Dushan jade, a characteristic of this type of jade. Dushan Mountain produces a great variety of jade with as many as over 30 colors. This type of jade features high hardness, a delicate texture, high gloss and high transparency. It is a  superior raw material for jade carving.

Included with the sculpture is a wood pedestal that was custom carved to fit this particular sculpture and the original fabric box. #90
