This piece features deeply carved panels depicting landscapes, figures, and architectural elements in an Asian-influenced style. The curved side panels and front doors are fully detailed with layered relief work that highlights trees, buildings, and patterned borders. Short carved legs and a shaped lower apron complete the form, giving the cabinet a balanced, sculptural presence. A unique feature of this cabinet is the 'elevator lift' - when the two wing doors are opened at the top, the internal elevator lifts the bottles up to the top for easy reach. Also, the lower wine rack is removable.
