This stunning 14 karat yellow gold purplish red rubelite tourmaline and diamond ring features an asymmetrical design and was most likely custom crafted. The ring is set with one 12.30 x 9.30 x 7.00mm oval shaped tourmaline gemstone that due the majority red component of the color is classified as a highly desirable rubelite tourmaline. The color and clarity are graded as slightly included, type II, moderate purple red (Munsell 5RP 5/10) and with a very good cut. The gemstone weighs 5.15 carats.

 

Accenting the ring are six round brilliant diamonds measuring 1.6mm - 1.8mm in diameter. The diamonds are of H-I color, SI-1 clarity, and weigh .10 carats. They are positioned three on each side of the gemstone in flush mount settings.
