While examining this ring under magnification, we were delighted to discover that the emeralds exhibit the beautiful natural internal features that gemologists affectionately call a jardin—the French word for "garden." Fine growth structures, delicate healed fingerprints, and tiny crystal inclusions create a miniature landscape within the gemstones, each recording millions of years of natural crystal growth deep within the earth.

Although these features are invisible during normal wear, they are one of the characteristics that make natural emeralds so captivating to gemologists and collectors alike. They remind us that no two emeralds are ever exactly alike, making each one a small work of nature's artistry.
