Step into the golden age of American fine watchmaking with this stunning platinum and diamond lady's cocktail watch from the early 1940s. This vintage Hamilton timepiece is a true heirloom, impeccably preserved and in working mechanical condition. It was crafted during a period when luxury and precision were paramount, and Hamilton Watch Co. was the leading supplier of top-tier movements to premier jewelers, resulting in exquisite custom wristwatches set with fine diamonds in platinum. The style embodies everything collectors love about Art Deco glamour: symmetry, craftsmanship, and enduring style.

Embellished with 3.25 carats of natural diamonds, this timepiece exudes a magnificent and graceful brilliance. Each exquisitely cut stone catches the light, creating a dazzling display of luxury and sophistication on the wrist. 

The case is crafted of solid platinum, stamped “900 PLAT / 100 IRID” and features the original black dial with stylized Arabic numerals and silver hour and minute hands. The case measures 29 mm (lug to lug) and 15mm in width (excluding the crown). Exceptional craftsmanship and setting details are evident with accents such as finely milgrained edges and a brilliant mix of round and baguette-cut diamonds in a fan motif — a hallmark of high 1930s–40s design. 

The mechanical movement is a manual-wind, 17-jewel Hamilton Grade 911 — known for its reliability and refinement. The strap is a modern 12K gold-filled and black nylon Cordette cocktail watch band that might be adjustable by .5", or replaced with a different size, or could also be replaced with a platinum bracelet if desired.
