This antique 10-karat gold-filled Hamilton Watch Co. pocket watch, accompanied by a 10-karat gold fob, dates back to 1910-1911 and measures 50mm in diameter. This open-face design is commonly referred to as a railroader's watch, a name derived from a requirement established in the 1880s that mandated all railway workers carry a pocket watch meeting specific standards to ensure consistent timings across railway networks.

The pocket watch is a mechanical wind-up style, powered by its own internal mechanism, so only daily winding is needed. The time can be easily set by twisting off the see-through front (both the front and back easily twist off), pulling the crown up, sliding the lever near the crown to the right, and then twisting  the crown to move the hands to the correct time. When the time is set, slide the lever back to the left, push the crown back down and twist the front cover back onto the open face.

The specifics of this watch include: open face 3/4, evaluation grade 992, 21 jewel double roller with gold jewel settings, production #1235037, adjusted for 5 positions. The case is stamped Keystone J Boss, 10K Gold Filled, serial #.

The pocket watch has had one owner and is still in working condition. #90#A
