An exceptional Southwestern studio ring combining historic Cerrillos turquoise, substantial silver craftsmanship, and distinctive Santa Fe artistry
A striking artisan-crafted sterling silver band by Santa Fe silversmith Douglas Magnus, this substantial ring features continuous hand-cut stone-to-stone Cerrillos turquoise channel inlay in richly varied blue-green tones with natural matrix. The turquoise was sourced from the historic Cerrillos Mining District of New Mexico, an area celebrated for producing some of America’s most historically significant turquoise.
The wide sterling silver band displays an intentionally textured oxidized finish that beautifully complements the vivid turquoise inlay while emphasizing the handcrafted character of the piece. Signed “Magnus Santa Fe” along with “Castillian Cerrillos Turquoise,” this ring reflects the studio artistry and regional heritage associated with Magnus’ renowned turquoise mining and jewelry work.
