This classic retro-modernist 14 karat yellow gold ring features a streamlined architectural design, a high-polished finish, and a distinctive stepped contour along the shoulders of the ring. Crafted for durability and comfort, the design features a low-profile front, a linear bar setting devoid of prongs, and a hard gemstone that resists scratching more effectively than most. Set in the center is a vividly saturated purplish-red natural rhodolite garnet gemstone that measures 11.0 x 9.0 x 4.1mm(d) and weighs 4.21 carats. The classic, elegantly simple design of the ring ensures the gemstone takes center stage, with its unique, stepped fantasy-cut spanning the front of the ring, showcasing its warm, deep purplish-red color.

A rhodolite garnet's warm hue results from a mix of pyrope and almandine garnets and can range from lavender pink and rose to purplish-red, with purplish-red being the most prized. Its place in the garnet family reflects its shared characteristics, such as excellent durability and refractive brilliance, while its distinctive blend of garnet minerals and distinct coloration sets it apart.
