Purchased in Saudi Arabia or Iran in the 1970s, this 14 karat yellow gold harem ring is composed of five separate bands that are connected together at the back by a thin plate of 14 karat gold, allowing them to form one larger, integrated piece of jewelry, while appearing to be individual bands.

Each of the bands is set with seven gems, for a total of thirty-five gemstones. Three of the bands are set with white seed pearls that measure 2.0 -2.5mm in diameter. The pearls are arranged in groups of seven for a total of twenty-one pearls. Another band is set with seven turquoise stones that measure 2.3mm in diameter and another with seven rubies that measure 2.2-2.3mm. #90 #A.
