Antique Art Nouveau 14K Gold Heart-shaped lab-created ruby (circa 1900), Early European Diamond & Pearl Necklace – Circa 1900–1910

Romantic, refined, and unmistakably turn-of-the-century, this authentic Art Nouveau necklace embodies the elegance of the early Edwardian era. Crafted in 14K yellow gold, the delicate openwork V-shaped pendant is centered with a vivid heart-shaped lab-created ruby, accented by three early European-cut diamonds, and finished with a graceful dangling natural pearl that adds soft movement and charm.

The pendant is stamped with an oval cartouche containing a partial “M” maker’s mark. While this mark is consistent with several period manufacturers, definitive attribution cannot be guaranteed.

The airy construction, flowing organic lines, and articulated pearl drop are all hallmarks of circa 1900–1910 craftsmanship—a style prized today for its lightness and femininity — and are rarely found complete with their original chain.

Center Stone: Heart-shaped lab-created ruby, 5.5 × 5.4 × 3.21 (d)mm, 0.75 carats

Accent Diamonds: Three early European-cut diamonds, 3.1 x 3.0 x 2.1 (d)mm, .36ctw

Drop: Natural pearl, 4.5mm x 4.5mm x 6.00 (d)mm

Condition: In very good antique condition, with very light age-appropriate wear. The pearl drop is secure and moves freely, enhancing the graceful design.

A timeless heirloom for collectors of fine antique jewelry or anyone drawn to the romance and craftsmanship of the Art Nouveau era.

Stamps: 14K, M (partial maker's mark inside an oval cartouche)
