Vintage Tiger's Eye Cameo Locket Pendant with 14K Gold Accents - Early to Mid-20th Century

Unusual and richly detailed, this vintage locket pendant features a hand-carved tiger's eye cameo set within a decorative hinged locket accented with 14 karat gold. 

The square tiger's eye panel is carved in relief with a classical female profile, showcasing the gemstone's natural golden-brown chatoyant bands. Rising approximately 4mm above the bezel, the carving displays impressive depth and dimension while allowing the tiger's eye to reveal its characteristic silky luster as it catches the light. 

The cameo is secured within a 14 karat gold bezel mounted to the front of a hinged locket form. Opening to reveal an interior compartment designed for a photograph or cherished keepsake, the pendant combines decorative artistry with personal sentiment. The scalloped exterior creates an appealing architectural frame around both the cameo and locket body, giving the piece a distinctive presence uncommon among traditional cameo jewelry.
