This large oval shaped belt buckle is stamped with the artisan's pictorial trademark and measures 4.25" (w) x 3-1/8" (w). The resting or standing eagle design was crafted using a mosaic inlay of carved mother of pearl, black onyx, turquoise and red coral. In addition, the buckle is embellished with beautiful carvings and stamped designs in the nickel silver around the eagle as well as along the circumference of the buckle.

While nickel silver may look like silver, it actually does not contain the element silver. It is named for its silvery appearance, which can make it attractive as a stronger and more durable, but cheaper substitute. The usual formulation is 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc.#90
