This circa 1910-1920's handcrafted Art Nouveau sterling silver pendant measures 3.5"(l) with the bail and 2.375"(w). Typical of the period, asymmetrical lines and movement were incorporated in the design of this pendant. The articulated design allows for fluid movement between the bail and the pendant and the three gemstone-colored glass dangles.

Other elements found in the Art Nouveau period, is a focus on the female form and on nature. The center of the pendant features an 18mm diameter lavender glass intaglio cameo of the silhouette of a female, and swags of cornucopias brimming with flowers or wheat. Just above the intaglio cameo is a flower that is set with a 4.5mm x 4.5mm square red colored glass stone. #90
