This circa 1910 Victorian amethyst, citrine and pearl sweetheart pendant and brooch is crafted in 15 karat yellow gold and stamped with a European gold purity mark. The artisan and country in which it was made are unknown.

The piece is set with two 10mm x 9.5mm heart-shaped gemstones, one amethyst and one citrine, both of which have a surround of seed pearls and are surmounted with a pearl-set coronet. In total there are fifty-one pearls, two pearls are missing. 

The overall dimensions are approximately 1"(w) x 1"(h) x .25"(d). A jump ring has been added to the back of the brooch to lend versatility to the piece as a pendant. #90
