Antique 14K Gold Shell Cameo Pendant | Hand-Wired Seed Pearls | Victorian to Edwardian c.1890-1915 

Delicate and beautifully crafted, this antique shell cameo pendant dates to the late Victorian or early Edwardian era, circa 1890-1915. The finely carved shell cameo depicts a classical female profile in high relief, framed by an elegant hand-crafted gold mounting accented with hand-wired seed pearls. 

The natural seed pearls are individually strung and integrated into the flowing ribbon-style frame, demonstrating the labor-intensive workmanship characteristic of fine jewelry from the period. The cameo is carved from shell and exhibits the soft, warm coloration and graceful detail prized by collectors of antique jewelry. 

The mounting tests as 14K gold. The bail is marked 10K, though it also tested as 14K gold. The pendant remains a charming example of turn-of-the-century craftsmanship and wearable antique jewelry.
