10K Yellow Gold Antique Bar Brooch with Lab-Created Ruby | Circa 1905-1925

 A refined example of early 20th century elegance, this antique 10K yellow gold bar brooch features delicate openwork in an organic, vine-inspired motif centered with a vibrant lab-created ruby.  

Slender and feminine, the elongated silhouette reflects the graceful styling of the Edwardian to early Art Deco transition period. The fine pierced detailing gives the piece a light, airy presence while maintaining the warmth and richness of solid gold. 

At its center rests a 3mm round faceted lab-created ruby in a classic six-prong setting. Early laboratory-grown rubies became popular in jewelry beginning in the first decade of the 1900s and were prized for their vivid color and durability. Its presence here is both period-appropriate and historically consistent with fine jewelry of the era.
