Vintage Navajo necklace is set with fifteen sterling silver shadowbox bear paws that are sawtooth bezel-set with oval ~5.5mm x 10mm red coral stones, nickel silver round beads, and a hook and eye clasp. Nickel silver has the appearance of sterling silver but is actually an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc which are silvery in appearance
In order to preserve the original vintage integrity of our items, we do not polish them. We have found that many customers prefer the warm patina of a vintage, unpolished piece. However, if you prefer a brilliant shine rather than the patina that comes with age, items can be easily polished by a jeweler.
