This vintage Zuni sterling silver mother of pearl, green quartz, hematite and black onyx beaded necklace consists of two strands of stone beads, silver beads and a mother of pearl teardrop shaped pendant with a stunning bird inlay. The inlay is created with expert skill using multiple colors of mother of pearl shell as well as multiple colors of onyx. This lapidary style incorporates flattened stones that are measured, cut, shaped, and carefully laid in place to create a design. The Zuni tribe is known for mastering this style of art.

The shorter strand measures 22" in length (without the 1" x 2" pendant) and the other 28"in length. The strands are secured with a screw barrel clasp. The necklace is crafted with carved round and saucer beads, smooth polished sterling silver 4mm round spacer beads, 4.5 x 10.5 oval beads, 20mm melon beads, and 10mm liquid silver beads. Also used in the design are 4.3mm black onyx beads, as well as hematite and green quartz beads, all natural stones. #90
