Dave McGary Bronze Sculpture "American Horses" (Bust)
Stunning hand-painted bust sculpture of the horse belonging to Oglala Sioux Chief "American Horse". The horse has painted details such as the horse's bridle, mouth, and ceremonial feathers. Hand-painted with amazing realism and detail, this rare sculpture and its companion sculpture depicting the bust of the Chief 'American Horse' himself (currently being sold separately, please check our other auctions!) are numbered 46 of only 75 created. The sculpture sits upon a cherry wooden stand, with a brass nameplate.

Dave McGary (1958-2013): A contemporary artist of the American West who is considered a Master of Realism. He ability to capture human spirit and emotion has earned him many awards that validate his reputation among other artist and collectors. After returning to the United States from Studying in Italy, his bronze works began receiving much acclaim. Two of these works are in the permanent collection of the Old Executive Office in the White House. He was also elected to show in the prestigious Hubbard Art Show and commissioned by the city of Santa Fe. McGary works have also been exhibited for the enjoyment of critics and collectors by the United Nations, in the Smithsonian, The Buffalo Bill Historical Museum, and U.S. Capitol Building.
